Marshall HS Softball
From the George C. Marshall Activity Office
George C. Marshall High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Joe Mills as its new Head Softball Coach. Coach Mills has been coaching multiple sports, at multiple levels for the past 23 year. Last year, he was a varsity assistant at Fairfax High School and coached travel for the past 6 years with the ShenVal Swarm. During his coaching, he has compiled a 248-96-10 record while winning 28 tournament championships. When asked what he looks forward to the most as our head coach he said, “rebuilding the Statesmen Softball Program and get it back to its winning tradition.” We are fortunate to have Coach Mills on staff and look forward to him leading the Marshall Softball Program into the future. On a personal level, Coach Mills enjoys his free time with his wife and 4 children at the beach when they are not on a softball field.
Friday, September 8th in the aux. gym at 9:45, there will be a SOFTBALL INTEREST MEETING, for all those interested in trying out in the spring.
